Hello, my name is Bogumila Malinowska.
I am still accepting new clients - individuals, couples, and young clients - and am offering phone and video sessions FACE TO FACE, via Zoom and Skype.
I have immediate openings for teletherapy (video or phone sessions) and would be honoured to support you during this time of uncertainty. Start with a free 15 minutes!
Counselling in person in N4 4BY near Crouch hill overground
Training/Qualifications
I am accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)National Counselling and Psychotherapy society and authorised by the Kwan Um School of Zen as a Zen teacher.
My work
Human beings need a meaningful and happy life and that's what I help my clients to achieve. I help clients to feel grounded, confident, safe, relaxed and in touch with their true selves, and to move on in your life and your goals.
I think the mind can greatly affect our decisions, relationships, mental, emotional and physical condition and opportunities in our day-to-day life, so I think therapy should bring positive changes to our lives from the very first session. My therapeutic work is based on modern Western psychotherapy methods and mindfulness/Zen. I consider my therapy approach to be integrative and holistic.
I have worked with difference and diversity in various ways. I recognise the impact of different forms of oppression on personal development, and on the chances that are available to people.
I am committed to working in anti-oppressive and inclusive ways.
Areas of work
I have worked with a range of clients for some years, on a wide variety of issues. These include:
low self-esteem, panic attacks, relationships, sex, work struggles and a bumpy career path, making changes, sex, grief and bereavement, loneliness, depression, race and racism, friendships, disability, depression, anxiety, anger, and existential struggles, among others.
My therapeutic work with individuals and people in relationships aims to help them resolve difficulties and work towards their hopes and aspirations.
My approach
I am happy to work both short and longer term with people. Short-term work often involves specific issues and goals. This is also true of longer-term work, but this can give way to a more free-flow exploration of issues as they arise.
I believe that you have the power to help yourself, and I will support you to build that belief in yoursef.
I trust that you have a power to help yourself and I am going to support you to build up that trust.
